Your brain doesn’t love change. It loves safety.
And safety = familiarity.
So when a great opportunity arises, your subconscious might still scream:

“Public speaking?! Nope, remember that 4th grade book report disaster??”
“Coffee date? At your age? Absurd!”

The brain receives millions of bits of sensory input every second. To cope, it uses a powerful filtering system, largely unconscious and based on past experiences. That means if you’ve never valued something before, or you’ve had bad experiences around it, your brain might filter it out completely.

But here’s the twist:

You can INTENTIALLY train your brain to notice what you want:

✔️ Value Tagging –The brain will label what’s important to you.  A conscious intention raises the importance of a desire in your brain

Neuroscientists call this “priming,” and you can do it on purpose.
The key? Pairing your new intention with a regulated nervous system. When you feel safe, the brain’s “danger filter” relaxes, and the new goal becomes part of your internal map.

✨ Want to manifest courageously? Pair intention with calm. Meditation, hypnosis, or deep breaths work. Bonus points for laughing mid-manifestation.

  • Visualizing an action activates the same brain areas as doing the thing.
  • Add a cue for attention—BOOM—you light up your frontal eye fields (aka the part of your brain that says “Hey! Pay attention!”).
  • Visualization changes your filtering system. It updates your brain’s “What Matters Now” file.

It’s why I can spot a Starbucks from five miles away—but couldn’t see a podcast opportunity until I had a value tag on it.
